Church: Worship, Music and the Arts is a one credit course taught by Arturo LaCruz. This course explores what means to have a Christian world-view guided by worship, and provides tools to equip students as a life-long worship-mentor. Sessions will discuss bridging the gap between the understanding and practice of Christian Worship for the 21st century church, what unites us, and why there are worship wars. Students will have the opportunity to listen and consider the value of different styles of music, learn about the aesthetics of God (what He considers beautiful music and art); what is 'essential worship'; visual styles; performance and ministry, and much more.
